Amanita Cummings

Amanita became a certified yoga teacher through the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in 2004. She spent time studying at the Sivananda Ashram in both the Bahamas and Grass Valley, California. Since that time Amanita has trained with respected teachers including Michael Stone, Sean Corne, Lesley Crowe, Rodney Yee and Sadie Nardini. She teaches a variety of styles of yoga asana including vinyasa, yin, restorative, hatha and pre-natal. She also teaches breathing techniques and meditation as a stress reduction technique and as a grounding and centering exercise.

Amanita seeks to guide people back to balance and wellness by teaching skillful practices, such as yoga, meditation,nutrition and self care so that they may experience the joy of living vibrantly with purpose.

Her passion for a creative and healthy life continues to lead Amanita down the path as a lifelong student of yoga and in 2015 Amanita graduated from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Nutritional Wellness Coach. Amanita feels deeply grateful  and honoured to connect with her students and clients and assist them on their journey to brilliance.

She currently teaches yoga at West Coast Hot Yoga, Lotus Pedal Yoga and from her home studio &spa in South Surrey BC.
